Connections Counselling and Consulting Foundation is a registered charity (BN # 890700347RR0001) that, since 1990, has been providing vital counselling services to intellectually disabled Calgarians.
At Connections, we have two main purposes:
- to provide family support to parents with an intellectual disability and their children
- to provide individual counselling to persons with an intellectual disability
Connections works with all members of the family unit to help them overcome the challenges that arise from the intellectual disability of someone they live with.
Connections is truly unique in its provision of long-term support to the families of intellectually disabled people in Calgary.
